Bio #1 for "Cook at (Sm)all Costs with Tiff Pino"

Tiff (she/her) has been working as a teacher within Edmonton Catholic Schools since 2004 and recently experienced the adventure of a lifetime when she was chosen as a cast member for the new Netflix reality show, "Cook at All Costs", which premiered in December 2022. Her experience growing up in a family full of amazing home cooks, inspired her to learn traditional recipes, from Italian Cannelloni to Scottish Scones and much more, Tiff shares her love for others through the food she makes for them. On top of all that cooking, she also loves to make people laugh and feels she did a pretty good job of a combination of those things on her episode, "Southern Comfort". Tiff and her wife, who is also a teacher, have twin 8-year-olds and resides in Edmonton, where they enjoy eating and laughing a lot!

Bio #2 for "The 2SLGBTQ+ Community Also Exists in our Elementary Schools (surprise!)"

Tiff Pino (she/her) is a queer educator and parent of 7- year- old twins and has been a teacher within Edmonton Catholic Schools since 2004. She has been an advocate and activist for the rights of others since she was very young and over the past decade she has shared her personal story, knowledge and hope of creating safer spaces for the 2-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, + (2SLGBTQ+) community as she feels there is a gap in understanding about the different sexual and gender identities that exist and about the real vulnerability that 2SLGBTQ+ students, staff and families experience in the school systems. Tiff has been honored to present at the Greater Edmonton Teacher Convention Association (GETCA) in previous years, to the Educational Society of Edmonton and at the Egale Identity Conference in Toronto. She was also recently selected as the Alberta Teacher Representative for the Canadian Teachers' Advisory Circle (CTAC) at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. Her ultimate hope is to leave every space that she enters as a safer one for others.
