Comic-Con 2019

Believe it or not, films have been coming to Comic-Con since the beginning! As a matter of fact, in 1976 a small sci-fi movie about a moisture farmer's boy was being promoted on its way to much future celebration. Hear from a few of the folks who have helped to bring films to Comic-Con discuss their roles and changes in the industry. Panelists Craig Miller (publicist, producer, author, Star Wars Memories), Jeff Walker (genre marketing consultant, long-time Comic-Con program participant), Steve Sansweet (former head of fan relations at Lucasfilm), and Gary Sassaman (Comic-Con director of programming, 2000–2007) discuss the film industry's involvement in Comic-Con, with self-proclaimed semi-journalist, moderator Marc Bernardin (writer, The Authority, The Highwaymen, Castle Rock).
