Comics have been created, published, and read in Mexico since the 1930s. The history of Mexican comics encompasses celebrities, filmmakers, classic characters, and Mexican culture and folklore. Moderator Hugo Castro (Gamacon founder and CEO) and panelists Oscar Bazaldua (comics writer and artist), Luis Gantus (comics historian, writer and editor), Bernardo Guerrero (founder of Bazar del Comic), and Adalisa Zárate (cartoonist, writer and editor) will take a look at this rich history. They also will touch on the work of the editors who bring to Mexico great stories created around the world to the delight of Mexican readers.
