Tiffany Babb (The New School) explores how Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook's Harrow County uses character doubling to emphasize the adolescent's inner struggles against determination and expectation. Clarissa Rubio Goldsmith (Arizona State University) analyzes how Brian K. Vaughan's Barrier and Sean Lewis's Coyotes engage with immigration myths and participate in and complicate the denial of personhood and rights to marginalized populations.
